Spinach and Cheese Curry
Very tasty meat free dish

Ingredients |
250 Gram Fresh Spinach |
250 Gram Cheddar Cheese |
1 Tablespoon Vegetable Oil |
3 Onion, finely chopped |
3 Cm Ginger, finely chopped |
1 Tomato, finely chopped |
1.5 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds |
½ Teaspoon Turmeric |
1 Teaspoon Chilli Powder |
2 Cloves |
1 Teaspoon Nutmeg |
Mace |
Salt, to taste |
Method |
Cook the spinach in a little water and then chop it up. |
Cut the cheese into 1cm cubes and fry a few pieces at a time in the oil. |
Next fry the chopped onions in the oil for 2 minutes. |
Add the ginger and turn heat to high. |
When the onions are golden reduce the heat and add the tomato |
Add the spices. |
Cover for a few minutes then add the spinach and salt |
Cover and simmer about 5 minutes to let spices penetrate. |
Add the cheese pieces mix and serve. |
