Red Curry Paste
This SpiceTheWorld red curry paste recipe is easy to make and very tasty.

Ingredients |
1 Shallot, chopped |
1 Lemon, finely chopped |
2 Red Chillies |
4 Garlic Cloves |
3 Cm Ginger, sliced |
2 Tablespoon Tomato Purée |
1 Teaspoon Ground Cumin |
1 Teaspoon Coriander |
½ Teaspoon White Pepper |
2 Tablespoon Fish Sauce |
Salt, to taste |
1 Teaspoon Shrimp Paste |
½ Teaspoon Sugar |
3 Tablespoon Chilli Powder |
3 Tablespoon Coconut Milk |
2 Tablespoon Lime |
Method |
Place all ingredients in a food processor or blender and whiz well to create a fragrant red curry paste. |
If too thick add a little more coconut milk to help blend ingredients. |
If you prefer a curry sauce rather than a paste add more coconut milk and whiz on. |
