Red Curry Paste
This SpiceTheWorld red curry paste recipe is easy to make and very tasty.

Ingredients |
1 Shallots, chopped |
1 Lemon, finely chopped |
2 Red Chillies, finely chopped |
4 Garlic Cloves, finely chopped |
3 cm Ginger, finely chopped |
2 tbsp Tomato Purée |
1 tsp Ground Cumin |
1 tsp Coriander |
½ tsp White Pepper |
2 tbsp Vegan Fish Sauce |
Salt, to taste |
1 tsp Vegetarian Shrimp Paste |
½ tsp Sugar |
3 tbsp Chilli Powder |
3 tbsp Coconut Milk |
2 tbsp Lime |
Method |
Place all ingredients in a food processor or blender and whiz well to create a fragrant red curry paste. |
If too thick add a little more coconut milk to help blend ingredients. |
If you prefer a curry sauce rather than a paste add more coconut milk and whiz on. |
