Singapore Fried Rice

A hot and spicy dish that makes a great accompaniment for SpiceTheWorld dishes.

2 tablespoons vegetable oil
One egg
1 clove of garlic finely chopped
1 green chilli very finely chopped
Two cups of cooked plain rice (See recipe) cold
1 Red or Green Pepper sliced
Salt to taste
6 cooked king prawns cut in half
1 cooked Chicken breast chopped
1 cup of frozen peas
1 teaspoon chilli powder
1 teaspoon curry powder
1 teaspoon light soy sauce
2 spring onions chopped
Heat the oil in a wok.
Add the egg and stir fry for about 30 seconds.
Add garlic and chilli all the time stir frying.
Add the rice keep stir frying.
Add the peppers salt prawns and chicken.
Add the peas chilli powder curry powder and soy sauce.
Stir fry for 2 minutes.
Garnish with spring onions and serve.
