Beef Chili

Very good flavor and easy to make

Ingredients
6 Tablespoons vegetable oil
1.5kg Lean beef cubed
3 chopped green bell pepper
220g chopped onion
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1 garlic clove minced
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 tablespoon brown sugar
11/2 teaspoons dried oregano
1kg can(s) chopped tomatoes
500g can tomato paste
1 bottle beer
2 x 400g cans kidney beans drained
Method
Add 3 tablespoons of oil to the stockpot and heat over medium-high heat until hot.
Add half of the meat and cook until browned.
Remove from heat and drain.
Repeat with remaining meat.
Add another 3 tablespoons of oil to the stockpot and heat over medium-high heat until hot.
Add bell pepper onion red pepper and garlic and saute for 10 minutes.
Return the cooked meat to the pot and add remaining ingredients.
Bring to a boil then reduce heat cover and simmer for 1 hour or until meat is tender.
