Chinese Five Spice Chicken

A great mix of flavours and so easy to make

Prep Time 120 Minutes Cooking Time 60 Minutes

2 tablespoon Chinese five spice powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
2 chicken breasts skinned and whole
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Mix the dry ingredients together.
Coat the chicken breasts with the dry ingredients.
Wrap tightly in aluminum foil and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
Preheat oven to 180 C / Gas mark 4.
Remove foil from chicken breasts and place them in a lightly oiled baking dish.
Bake for 45 minutes or until cooked through and juices run clear.
Serve with rice or noodles.
